Rick Santorum will take part in the CNN/Tea Party Express Debate tonight that will take place in Tampa, Florida. Tea Party groups from 31 states and Washington, D.C. will ask questions directed at the candidates.
The two-hour debate, co-sponsored by the Tea Party Express and CNN, promises to include some topics that rarely come up in national political forums, such as the candidates' views of the Constitution and the Federal Reserve. We believe that Senator Rick Santorum will be prepared and ready for this timely debate.
We do believe that the topic entitlement reform will play a huge discussion in this evening's debate, especially considering the eruption over Rick Perry's assertion that Social Security is a "Ponzi scheme and Mitt Romney stating that it needs to be fixed and is a trusted program. But as we know Rick Santorum has a proven record on fighting entitlements and he should play heavily in this discussion, if it does not become the Perry - Romney show Act 2.
This debate should be a little more fair then one last week when it became a horse an pony show with the entrance of Rick Perry. We believe that this debate will have a little more substance then the debate at the Reagan Library, because the people in this audience are tired of typical politicians and sound bites. If you watch Senator Santorum travel through-out the country you will see he does not need notes or talking points, he speaks directly from the heart and what he believes in.
Please join us tonight in watching Rick Santorum and seeing why we believe in his leadership!
