Santorum returns to Lancaster County SC for Constitution Day

-Constitution Day in Lancaster County South Carolina-

Former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum made his second stop in Lancaster County this week by kicking off the 5th Congressional District GOP Pep rally on Saturday morning.

Senator Santorum who was just recently endorsed by SC House member Deborah Long and Lancaster County Chairwoman Sandy McGarry has decided his path to Victory will start in the 5th District. Although he is one among several GOP candidates vying for the Republican party nomination, Senator Santorum is surely the most conservative in the race.

Senator Santorum spoke to a crowd of people from all over the 5th Congressional District which includes (Lancaster, Kershaw, York, Cherokee, Chester, and other Counties). He was the only presidential candidate that has attended this event. (Other noted elected officials in attendance Congressman Mick Mulvaney, South Carolina State Senators Greg Gregory and Tom Davis, State Treasure Curtis Loftis, SC House members Deborah Long, Ralph Norman, and Greg Delleney).

Senator Santorum knows that every county will come into play in South Carolina. He believes he will not only do well here but he believes he can win. During this recent visit, Senator Santorum spoke about the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, this was a great idea considering Saturday was Constitution Day (see the video below).
